the scape update

Artscape!

We went & it was beautiful again this year.

We we're able to hear the Isley Brothers  but not actually see them, the joint was jammed packed! {& i'm kinda of "height challenged" & all my taller Husband could see was blue lights glare from the stage and the back of a bunch of big  ol'  heads .
so?  You know i was outta luck on that!!!! lol lol
We arrived a little late But?  It was Great just to hear them play, live, that "ash'e factor in effect !
I think my favorite Isley is Ernie Isley or whoever the Brother currently  is on the main guitar, when "Who's that Lady", Summer Breeze, Hello  it's Me ,  Footsteps in the Dark, Atlantis", and more - started to play, it was on!  They did alot of the classic Isley grooves !

a selection by the Isley's  # 3 is my boo, Hope you feel better love - if you've ever heard the wicked guitar solo in this song? it would blow you away! -i'm sure i worried  my parents with this one as child , playing air guitar, requesting  tight leather jeans
when i wanted to "channel" my inner  chrissy hynde, hopping around . to this song like tina turner, on redbull  @ a late nite poco meetin lol lol  ... [aka- i think this girl -child,  here is gonna be a little wild?]  jamming to it whenever they played the isley's music , when i was growing up !   http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.process?Product=3810606

summer breeze had slick guitar solo on the cut, also.  [My Dad was a successful jazz musician on the side, i like mixing it up with a little rock [my rebellious days, but they actually have alot in common]  My Mom still goes to Santana Concerts & thoroughly enjoys them - even as recent as last year, I think a little of it's rubbed off on me! --- My Poor Offspring, but i think Jr. can hang !!!]
